Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like you got the Wi-Fi Kindle with “special offers” then if you got it for $144 – do the ads bother you or have you found any of the ads actually worthwhile/useful? I didn’t mind paying extra for the larger screen on the DX? and the free international 3G.

379 euros for a plastic ( apple ipad 2 with aluminium body , multitouch and glass screen , A4? proc 1 ghz with ATI graphic,16 GO SSD,two camera and etc .. is only for 489 euros !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mumble, why did you use that strange way to start the kindle?

From turned-off state,? switch on the kindle: it will require a couple of SECONDS to start, it’s ISTANTANEOUS.

You have done a full reset, not a switch on.
